Fancy Pattern Vivillion Available for Free Until July 31

Pokemon fans, your attention please: the 'fancy pattern' version of the Vivillion is available for free on the Pokemon Global Trade Station until the end of the month!

This Pokemon is being given as part of a promotion to celebrate 100 million trades on the network. This was announced at the end of May when the total was around 90 million.

Nintendo has described the special Pokemon as such:

Vivillon is a unique Pokémon in that the patterns and colours on its wings typically vary based on the real-world region in which a player lives. Because of this characteristic, players around the world have been exchanging Vivillon via the GTS to collect all of the regional patterns.

This particular form of Vivillion comes with the Hold Hands special move, which will likely be used by lonely gamers to get some small semblance of real-world contact.
