Rock Indeed

It's official!  Rock Band 3 will indeed have a (somewhat miniature) keyboard to use!  That's so great!  And even better, they will be introducing a "Pro" mode that lets you play notes on a standard staff instead of the regular colorful mode.

All I can say is there better be Billy Joel songs.  Otherwise, good luck movin' up, 'cause I'm movin' out.

Finally, a reason to buy Rock Band

The latest trailer for Rock Band 3 has an interesting teaser at the end.

As you can see, there is an icon for a piano on the right.  What could this mean?  If it means you can use an actual keyboard to play these music games, sign me up right now!  But, considering the “guitars” have a whopping 5 frets, I’m not gonna hold my breath.

But I guess you never know.  I think they could package it with at least a simple keyboard, which would be really fun.

Maybe Jim and Pam were right!  Rock Band Billy Joel does exist!
