New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Game Coming to 3DS

As many of you know, there is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie coming to theaters this August. Activision has announced that a 3DS game based on said movie will be available around the same time.

The new game will be a third-person action title, much like the recent TMNT games released for Wii and 3DS. Players can switch between the four turtles at any time. Each turtles has different stats. Michelangelo is all about quickness, while Raphael is more about busting heads.

As a hardcore fan of both Nintendo and TMNT, I hope this game turns out to be good. To be honest, though, I won't get my hopes up. With the exception of TMNT Smash Up for Wii and the GBA TMNT game based on the 2007 movie, recent Ninja Turtle games have been 'meh' at best. Here's hoping this game bucks that trend.

The new movie and game are a new, darker style of TMNT. Whether or not they will be any good is anyone's guess. The movie is being produced by Michael Bay, the dingus famous for ruining the Transformers series. But I guess we'll see. In this day and age, there are plenty of ways to watch movies without spending too much of your hard-earned money.

To be clear, I'm not a pirate, but you might have to swab the poop deck with this one, folks.

Haha! "What is swabbing, exactly?" I hope this game turns out good as well! The turtles look pretty intimidating :)
