PDP Releasing Mario-Themed Controllers this November

Accessory company PDP has announced that their Gamecube-style controllers will be available this holiday season.

There are three controllers to choose from: Mario, Peach, or Yoshi (all seen below). As you can see, their shape is very Gamecube-esque, with some changes in shape and style.

The controllers work like the Classic Controller, as they plug into the bottom of the Wii Remote. They will probably look great alongside the Mario, Peach and Yoshi Wii Remotes (Yoshi remote only available in Europe).

All three will be available on November 14th, which is probably around the time that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will finally arrive. The price will likely be in the $30-$40 range. And don't worry; they are officially licensed by Nintendo.

Until then, we can look at these pictures and decide if these controllers will be worthwhile. Will you be picking up any of these?
