Physical Version of NES Remix 1 & 2 Coming to Retail

If you want to play NES remix, but you prefer actual discs to downloads, then I have some good news for you.

Nintendo of America has confirmed that a Wii U disc containing both NES Remix and NES Remix 2 is coming to US stores this holiday season.

Japan actually got this back in April. The image to the left in the box art from the Japanese version. Here's hoping ours is at least that awesome.

The retail version will likely cost around $20, which is what it would cost you to download the two games.

For those who don't know, NES Remix is a game that has you playing snippets of various NES games like Super Mario Bros., Excitebike, and Wrecking Crew. There are hundreds of challenges, each with a specific goal, such as finishing a level without taking damage. NES Remix 2 is the same type of game, but with later NES games like Metroid and Kirby's Adventure. Both games are tons of fun, especially if you love old-school gaming.

This pack will also include Super Luigi Bros., which is available to those who downloaded both NES Remix games. The game is just like Super Mario Bros., only player one is Luigi, and the whole world is backwards, meaning you run left instead of right. Trippy!

Will you be buying the retail version? If not, I can only assume you already have the downloadable versions, since no one in their right mind would ever go without these games.

Seriously. Go buy them.
