Dragon Quest X Heading to 3DS in Japan

The ever-popular Dragon Quest series continues to flourish in the land of the rising sun. Dragon Quest X, the online title for Wii, Wii U and PC, is now heading to 3DS systems in Japan.

This version of the game has never been available outside of Japan. That seems weird, since previous Dragon Quest games have done fairly well in other regions. Dragon Quest VIII and IX each sold well over a million units in North American and Europe.

The game will cost ¥3800 (approx. $38 USD) and comes with 60 days of online access, a poster, and a number of in-game items, such as the lovely slime chariot as seen in the image on the left.

The game will be released on September 4th.

Would you buy this game if it was available here?

I don't know if I'd buy it. It sounds kinda cool though :)
